WHAT IS IT?

Cartographic Converter is a Windows coordinate converter from/to WGS-84 
geographic system and 2 local projections. It can convert also text files and 
create AutoCad scripts to import the converted points to AutoCad.

INSTALLATION

There is no need for installation. Only extract the content of the downloaded 
ZIP file in preferred directory (maybe "C:\Program files\" or "C:\Programmi\") 
and use it.


SETTINGS

The core of the program is the Settings tab, where the conversion parameter for 
2 local system are stored. There can be entered parameters for 3 and/or 7 
parametric conversion. By default the program have this parameters setted: 

System A (TM A) = 3 parameters for Italian Gauss-Boaga 15 local system corrected 
                  for Triest province;
System B (TM B)= 3 parameters for Slovenija Gauss-Krueger local system.

The settings can be loaded and saved to/from specific files (*.set).


WARNING

The program use the Windows system settings for decimal separator (comma or 
point). So the settings files are also not immune to this! All the settings 
provided with the program are saved with comma decimal separator, so, if you use 
the point separator convert the parameters in "Settings" tab and the *.set files 
or load the "Default-point.set".


USING

It is very symple: select the type of conversion from "Input - Output File/Data 
Setting" box, select the input and output file or write the input coordinates 
and click the corresponding button ("Convert File" or "Convert Data") to make 
the conversion.
